Privacy plan

Your account data should leave when you do.

This page describes the privacy model for the working preview and the planned live account scanner. It will be replaced by a lawyer-reviewed policy before public launch.

Current preview: the interactive demo uses fictional information. It does not connect to X, accept personal account information, set advertising cookies, or save demo selections to a database.

Information the live scanner will need

A live scan cannot be completely data-free. It will temporarily process an X account identifier, a short-lived authorization token, the public accounts that person follows, and the public activity dates needed to produce the requested result.

Information we do not plan to request

Retention

Scan results will be short-lived and deleted automatically after the session expires. The final retention period will be displayed before connection. The product will also include an immediate “delete this session” control.

Advertising

X account data will not be used to target advertising. Personalized advertising will not appear inside private scan results. If advertising is introduced on public educational pages, this policy and a cookie choice interface will explain any information used by the advertising provider.

Infrastructure records

Hosting and security providers may process limited technical information, such as an IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the service. Request bodies, authorization codes, access tokens, and account lists will be excluded or redacted from application logs.

Your choices

You will be able to leave without creating a Follow Checker account, revoke the X connection, end the session, and request deletion of any information that the final service is legally required to retain.

Contact

A monitored privacy contact and the business operator’s legal identity will be added before the public launch.
